Keep Fit & Knit Tours — last updated June 2026

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit this website or contact us, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We are committed to handling your data carefully and only for the purposes set out below.

1. Who We Are

Keep Fit & Knit Tours runs knitting and wellness retreats at Casa Mariscal in Polopos, Granada, Andalusia, Spain. For any question about your data, or to exercise any of the rights described below, you can reach us through the contact form on our website. We are the data controller responsible for the information you share with us.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect the information we need to respond to you and to manage your booking. Depending on how you use the site, this may include:

  • Contact and booking details you give us through our forms, such as your name, email address, phone number and any message or booking preferences you send.
  • Booking and payment information needed to reserve your place and take your deposit. Card payments are handled securely by our payment provider, Square. We do not see or store your full card details on our own systems.
  • Basic technical and usage data collected automatically when you browse, such as the pages you view and the type of device or browser you use. See the section on analytics below.

You do not have to give us any personal information to browse the site, but we will need certain details from you in order to answer an enquiry or take a booking.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Reply to your enquiries and stay in touch about your booking.
  • Take your deposit, process payments and manage your place on a retreat.
  • Keep our own records and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

4. Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, for example which pages are most popular. This helps us improve the website. Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy friendly: it does not use cookies, it does not track you across other websites, and it does not build a profile of you or attempt to identify you as an individual.

Because this service does not set cookies or fingerprint your device, no consent banner is required to use it. You can read more about how it works on Cloudflare's own website.

5. Cookies

This website does not set any tracking or advertising cookies. We may use a small amount of local storage in your browser to remember basic display preferences, but this stays on your device and is not used to track you or shared with anyone.

6. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for marketing by other companies. We only share information with trusted service providers who help us run the business, such as our payment provider (Square) and our email and hosting providers. These providers handle your data on our behalf and are required to keep it secure.

7. Your Rights

Under data protection law you have a number of rights over the personal information we hold about you. These include the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your data where there is no longer a reason for us to keep it.
  • Object to, or ask us to limit, how we use your data in certain circumstances.

To exercise any of these rights, please get in touch using the contact form on our website. You also have the right to complain to a data protection regulator, such as the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK or the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), if you are unhappy with how we have handled your data.

8. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes set out in this policy, or for as long as the law requires us to, for example for tax and accounting records. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymise it.

9. Changes and Contact

We may update this policy from time to time, and the date at the top shows when it was last revised. If you have any questions about this policy or about how we handle your data, please get in touch using the contact form on our website.
